To all our clients,

Covid-19 is new territory for us all and we are doing our best to keep up with the changes that the pandemic brings with it. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our people, which includes you, our valued clients.

Our priority is to do everything we reasonably can to protect and prevent all persons within our community from being exposed to the risk of Covid-19. As part of that commitment to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our people, Gawith Burridge has put in place a Covid Vaccination Policy to minimise the risk of exposure to and transmission of Covid-19, which we also believe is in line with the current Traffic Light system that has been introduced in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

This decision has not come easily to us as an office, but we do need to balance our decision against the underlying objective to provide a safe environment for everyone while living and working in a global pandemic and measuring that against respecting peoples, decisions not to get vaccinated for various reasons.

Accordingly, as of 3 December 2021, only those people who have a valid Covid Vaccine Pass will be able to come into our offices, work from our offices or attend firm events.

We will need people to advise us of their vaccination status before they enter our offices so that we can manage the risk for all parties involved. This includes people who have chosen for whatever reason not to get vaccinated. We still wish to work with you and will find a way to do so whilst minimising risk for all parties involved. We will consider all situations on a case by case basis and what would be the right approach for the wellbeing of all parties involved.

Please bear with us during these times. We are all working together in new territory and patience, respect and kindness are required.
